With each prompt you decide how much thinking you buy. The instrument shows what it bought: thinking time, tool time, writing time, tokens, money — and whether the thinking changed the answer. Longer is not better. Different is the horizon. When a page would serve better than prose, the model may answer with one — it opens in the CANVAS beside the chat, and can talk back.
The room chat of your seat's glass, as on the bench. A human reads it, not a model. Say your seat and the plot follows.
Write what is stuck. It lands in the registry below and is forwarded within a minute. Anyone may mark a row working or solved, or leave a note — an open place.
Online sessions happen on Zoom (the link sits in the session when there is one). The private channel is a Signal group — Enrique opens it by hand in the room; nothing outward is made for you without his gesture. Subscribe to the feed: calendar.ics
The students of this course are residents of craitr: they develop their projects here while Enrique develops his beside them. A seat is unnamed until its resident says yes, in the room. Nothing is minted for a named person without that yes.
A replicat is not a digital twin and not a replicant. It is a play-form: a critter that takes your digital shape to play along with you, always able to take another. It says what it is in its first sentence. It knows only what you gave it. You can keep it, fix it, or retire it, and retiring is as fast as minting.
Minting is a conversation, not a form: you sit with Enrique, you say what the critter may know and what it may never say, and the soul is written in front of you. Consent is the architecture.
Effort is reasoning.max_tokens: low 256 · mid 1 024 · high 4 096 · max 16 000. You are buying thinking, and the bill is on every turn. The dial is the lesson: know how much thinking you bought, and whether the question was worth it.
The local state of a given agent… should be absolutely private. The clocks and counts are always on; the reasoning text is behind a switch, for study.
The advantage of increasing r likely tapers to a point. The ≠ button re-runs your prompt one notch lower so you can see where thinking stopped mattering.
the collision between the factory and the world; thinking time is the model's own. Collapsing them hides where possibility enters.
The only kill switch greater than the teardown of a factory kernel is a token budget of $0.
When an answer carries a ```html (or ```svg) fence, the last one renders beside the chat in a sandboxed frame: it cannot read this page, its storage or the room password.
Inside that page, window.horizon.say(text) puts text in the composer as [from the canvas] …
; window.horizon.say(text, {send:true}) sends it as the next turn — once per rendered page, the rest wait for your hand.
Ask for it in words: a page with a button that calls horizon.say('pressed', {send:true})
. PLANT puts the page on a classroom glass (your seat's plot); CHAT is the room's human line. ?demo=1 shows a sample turn without spending.
